RULES AND POLICIES FOR ALL WORKSHOPS
Welcome to Manchester Studios RVA! We're excited to have you join our community of artists. Before we embark on this artistic journey together, these are our rules for all participants to ensure everyone has a positive and productive experience.
Securing Your Spot: We operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Your spot in our workshop is all set once we've received the full payment.
Payment Plans: If you need a little flexibility, you can use the "Pay Me Later" OR "Pay in Four" option through PayPal on our Sign-Up Page.
Refunds: We understand that life can be unpredictable. If you can't make it, we'll do our best to help. However, please note:
- Refunds are generally not available once your payment is in. Exceptions include:
1. If we have a waitlist and another eager student can take your place.
2. If we have to cancel the workshop (more on this below).
- If a workshop or session is missed, we can't provide a refund for that time.
- Your workshop payment is just for you and the specific workshop you've chosen; it can't be transferred to someone else or another workshop.
Our Commitment: There might be rare times when we have to cancel a workshop, maybe due to low registrations, public health concerns, or unexpected challenges like extreme weather. If this happens, we will refund you the full amount we received (after processing fees), or give you a portion back if the workshop has already begun.
Travel & Accommodation: MSRVA is not responsible for travel or housing expenses if a workshop gets canceled. We recommend you get travel insurance for those contingencies.
Safety First: By joining our workshop, you understand that while we're committed to safety, MSRVA isn't liable for any injuries or illnesses during the workshop or your commute.
Photography: We're proud of our students and their work and might occasionally showcase photos of attendees or their masterpieces. If you do not want your picture or your artwork to be used, please let us know at any time during the workshop.
Model Respect: As a general rule, taking photos or videos of the model is not allowed at any time. Exceptions will be made on a specific case-by-case basis with the permission of the model. If you want to take photos or videos, you must check first with Constance Bowden.
Instructors: Same rule as for models.
Your Belongings: MSRVA is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Health Guidelines: Staying healthy together is vital. MSRVA follows public health guidelines in place during the workshop, which could include measures like taking a COVID test or wearing a mask.
Smoking, Etc.:
- No smoking, drinking, or the use of psychoactive substances in the building or within 100 feet of our building.
- Anyone found under the influence will be dismissed and no refund will be given.
- For those who smoke, kindly keep it outside and at least 100 feet from our entrance.
Rules are Binding: By registering, you're joining our community and agreeing to these rules.
